CrewTracks at Trade Shows

Over the last 6 months, CrewTracks account managers have traveled all over the country exhibiting at trade shows, attending association meetings, and of course, playing lots of golf. From Las Vegas to Boston, New Orleans to Toronto, we have been able to meet new people, get to know their companies and their needs, and share with them how our software can foster better communication between the office and the field. In short, we met cool people and started helping them save time, money, and paper.

With each show, we learn more about each industry. We get to see all the new technology and equipment that will help workers get their job done more effectively and efficiently. We learn about new processes in each industry and how they will be used. We also learn about each industry’s needs for software; why they are looking for specific features we offer and how they will use them. As much as we hope visitors to our booth get a little bit of an education on our app and why they should be using an app to track their field management, we also get more insight into each industry and its needs.

Our first stop was World of Concrete in Las Vegas, one of the largest concrete industry trade shows, next to ConExpo. We got to show off our new 10′ x 20′ booth, complete with a TV for demos of our app. Then it was off to the International Roofing Expo in New Orleans and Win the Storm in Dallas, TX. Both were new shows for us, and we loved every second of them. In March we headed to the National Pavement Expo in Charlotte, NC. Then it was back to Texas for NUCA in San Antonio. After that, we had two more new shows, The Precast Show in Kansas City, MO, and the North Carolina Masonry Contractors Association in Greenville, SC. Then back to the tried and true, World of Asphalt in Nashville. All eight of these shows were just from January to March. After a short break, we were back to traveling. The No-Dig show in Minneapolis and TUG in Washington DC were up next. From TUG, we headed down to Atlanta, GA for CFMA, then back up north to Toronto for the Canadian Concrete Expo, another first for us. Last but not least, we just got back from Boston, MA, and the CFA conference. 13 locations in six months!

The last six months have been busy for CrewTracks account managers. But we enjoy trade shows. We enjoy getting to meet new people and potential customers. We like to learn more about their needs. We like to figure out how we can help them. We like to show off our app that can change how construction companies do business. We like helping people. At the end of the day, that is what it is about for us: helping people. Traveling is just a perk!
